Drivers are being warned of a road closure in Tampa today.

Water main break shuts down portion of Bayshore Blvd. in Tampa
Repairs expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Tuesday
Normal traffic patterns to return Friday afternoon

City officials said the northbound lane of Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa is closed between Sanders Drive and Kelly Road while the Water Department repairs a water main.

They said barricades and flagmen are located in the area to assist with traffic flow.

Drivers are being asked to use caution in the area.

Officials said the repair is expected to be finished by 4 p.m. today, Jan. 10. However, road restoration with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13.
