A motorcyclist was killed in an accident Tuesday night in Pasco County.

The accident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Rowan Road near Baillie Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Thomas Dalton, 47, was traveling northbound on Rowan Road when he lost control of his motorcycle, traveling into the southbound lanes and overturned.
FHP said a Lexus, driven by Kaitlyn Clasen, 27, was traveling in the southbound lanes and collided with Dalton.
Dalton was transported to a local hospital where he died. According to the FHP report, Dalton was not wearing a helmet.
The investigation is ongoing.
