A 25-year-old man from New Port Richey died Wednesday afternoon in a traffic crash.

The accident occurred at US 19 and Commons Boulevard shortly before 1:30 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said a Buick, driven by James Coles, 63, was traveling southbound on US 19 and attempted to make a U-turn at the Commons Blvd. intersection.
A Suzuki, driven by Coty Ryhal, was traveling northbound on US 19 when Coles drove into Ryhal's path, according to the report. The Suzuki collided into the right side of the Buick.
Ryhal was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Coles was not injured in the accident.
According to the report, charges are pending.
