The Pasco County Library is offering its patrons a new and easier way to get the books, music, and movies they want.

  • Pasco County Library to offer new digital service
  • Patrons to download or stream through Hoopla app

A new digital service called Hoopla allows library cardholders to download or stream movies, music, audio books and e-books to their cellphones, computers, and televisions.

With the Hoopla app you no longer have to wait for content. All titles are available for instant streaming.

“There is a rich variety of content on Hoopla,” said Pasco County Libraries Public Communications Specialist Bob Harrison.  “Titles include Hollywood blockbusters, full music albums, bestselling authors, and more.  Not just the hits, but hard-to-find works, as well.”

Library cardholders can check out up to 12 titles per month.  Movies and TV shows have a three-day checkout and music albums have a seven-day checkout.  E-books, audio books, comics and graphic novels have 21-day checkouts.

Download the app or visit Hoopla's website. Select Pasco County libraries and enter your library card number and password to create an account.
