Skies will be partly cloudy tonight.

Lows will be in the mid 50s north, to low 60s around Tampa Bay.

  • No rain for a while
  • Above normal temperatures
  • Cold front in a week

There will be some patchy fog or low clouds developing again overnight.

A large upper level ridge of high pressure continues over Florida keeping our warm trend going.

On Tuesday, the trend continues. Any early morning low clouds/fog will mix out by mid-morning.

There will be some high clouds moving through during the day. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. The beaches will cool down in the late afternoon as winds become lightly out of the west.

Then on Wednesday a cold front moves by north of Florida. This pattern will cause low level winds to shift from easterly early in the week to southerly for the middle and late part of the week. This will continue the warmth, but will increase the humidity, starting Wednesday.

On Friday, a cold front moves south toward the area which could bring a few showers, but still looks like best chances will be across the Nature Coast, since the front does not come through.

Temperatures will remain well above normal through the whole week with highs mostly in the upper 70s to around 80 and lows in the mid 50s to mid 60s.

Saturday that front retreats some to the north, so the chance for rain will be slim, but still best for areas north of Tampa. It will be warm and humid.

On Sunday night, the front will return south, closer to the Tampa Bay area. Rain chances may increase late in the day Sunday, but the chance for cooling down some won't be here until next Monday.
