An 18-year-old passenger was killed late Sunday night when the car he was riding in was involved in an accident.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a Honda Civic and a Ford F-150 truck were traveling westbound on SR-54 when the Honda collided into the rear of the truck. 

The impact caused the truck to rotate and overturn. 

One of the passengers in the truck, Cory Teabout, 18, was killed in the crash. Another passenger, Logan Tuliano, 18, and the driver of the truck, Robert Baldree, 20, only received minor injuries. 

The driver of the Honda Civic, Jorge Cruz-Blanco, 23, was not injured in the accident. 

The accident occurred shortly before midnight on Sunday, January 15, at SR-54 and Thys Road in Pasco County. 

According to the report, the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
