The official program for Friday's Inauguration Day has been released, and it includes the name of a controversial Florida pastor who will be participating.

Pastor Paula White-Cain of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka is listed in the "Readings and Invocation" portion of the program.

With her ex-husband Randy White, White-Cain co-founded what is now Without Walls International Church in Tampa in 1991 and was its senior pastor. The couple was known for preaching a "prosperity gospel" message, which says God wants to bless the faithful with material wealth, and lived a lavish lifestyle despite a 2006 audit that found that their church was more than $26 million in debt. They were investigated over the church's financial dealings but were cleared of any wrongdoing.

Randy and Paula White were among several pastors and televangelists who were the subject of a three-year investigation by Iowa Sen Chuck Grassley into possible excessive spending by ministries that preach some form of the prosperity gospel. The couple refused to cooperate with the inquiry, and it wrapped up with no penalties or definitive findings.

In August 2011, the founder of New Destiny Christian Center, Zachery Tims, was found dead in a New York City hotel room. Several months later, White-Cain was named its new leader -- but not without protest. Tims' ex-wife, Riva, sued New Destiny's board of directors over White-Cain's appointment, arguing that the church's bylaws said she should be senior pastor. Riva Tims later dropped the lawsuit.

White-Cain took over New Destiny on Dec. 31, 2011.

The Readings and Invocation will follow the prelude and call to honor.

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the nation's 45th president on Friday.
