Pedestrian hit, killed by vehicle in Pasco County

A 56-year-old man was killed Wednesday night when he was hit by a vehicle.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. on Gall Boulevard north of Corey Street.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Douglas Frymyer was crossing Gall Boulevard and was not in a crosswalk.

Frymyer walked into the path of a vehicle and was hit, the FHP said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said no charges have been filed.
