A Dade City man is now in jail after shooting a man on Saturday.

  • Jermaine Ross charged in connection with shooting

Police said Jermaine Isaac Ross, 31, turned himself in after shooting Bilal Adur Raheem Belle, 36, Saturday night. 

Belle is in critical condition at an area hospital, police said. 

Ross is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting. He was also charged on a probable cause affidavit with felon in possession of a deadly weapon stemming from a previous shooting involving the same victim. 

Police are still looking for witnesses and said additional charges may be pending.
