An auto collision and repair shop was damaged in a fire during Sunday night, according to the Tampa Fire Rescue.

Fire crews arrived at the shop on 6304 East Broadway at around 11:30 p.m. and saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the single story metal and masonry building, according to Jason Penny, public information officer.

Within 25 minutes, firefighters got the blaze under control.

No one was found inside the building and no injuries were reported, Penny stated.

The fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
