The Citrus County Sheriff's Office has become the first Purple Heart Agency in the nation.
On Monday the sheriff's office unveiled the new Purple Heart designated parking space for Purple Heart veterans.
The sheriff's office wrote on its Facebook page saying, "We are all so proud of our new parking space. We are so grateful for our veterans."
