A 27-year-old man was arrested on attempted homicide charges after deputies found an injured homeless man early Friday morning.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said they were flagged down by a homeless man who told them about another man who was injured behind the Leisure Lanes Bowling Alley in Hudson. 

The man was bleeding profusely from his neck and yelling for help, according to deputies. 

The victim was identified as Scott Moffat, 39. Deputies said Moffat had defensive cuts on both palms. 

According to deputies, there were no witnesses to the crime, only people who heard Moffat yelling for help. 

Deputies said Moffat was able to speak and kept repeating "Tank did it." 

He was transported to Bayonet Point Medical Center where he went into surgery. 

Deputies were able to identify "Tank" as Justin Jones, 28, with the help of a number of homeless people in the area. 

Jones was located at a Walmart on US 19 and taken into custody. 

He has been booked in the Pasco County jail.
