A driver was killed and his 2-year-old son was injured in a Wednesday evening crash.

It occurred about 6:15 p.m. on Henry George Road, just south of Old Hopewell Road.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Bryan Anthony, 30, was trying to pass several vehicles when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole.
Anthony died at the scene, deputies said.
The boy, who authorities said was unrestrained, was taken to Tampa General Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
The crash is under investigation.
