Pasco sheriff's deputies spotted a vehicle driving erratically shortly before midnight on Jan. 6. When they attempted to pull over Christopher Holt, 31, he began to flee the officers.

Officials said Holt ran a red light when he collided with a KIA at the intersection of County Road 1 and State Road 52.

After the impact, Holt's passenger, Hali Reichenbough, was ejected from the vehicle.

She was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The two people in the KIA, Luke and Susan Thompson, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

After the accident, Holt continued to elude officers and fled on foot, but was caught after a brief pursuit, according to investigators.

Officers said they found a loaded semi automatic firearm in Holt's vehicle, along with numerous prescribed narcotics and a clear, plastic container containing a fine white powder substance.

Officials also said a plastic bag of meth fell from Reichenbough when she was being loaded into the ambulance.

Holt is charged with hit and run, DUI with serious bodily injury, aggravated fleeing, driving with suspended license, and resist officers.
