Clouds will decrease through the morning. It will be breezy.

  • Breezy  for the next few days
  • A few showers will move west
  • Poor boating conditions

Strong surface high pressure to our north will be building south Monday. This will bring a change in the pattern.

The strong high will become stationary just to the north of Florida, while low pressure is in the Caribbean. The strong pressure gradient in between, will create a strong east-northeast breeze across the state. Winds will be gusty and boating conditions will be poor through mid-week.

On Monday, there will be a few showers and thunderstorms moving westward then ending.  Drier air will be building in during the afternoon.  It will be breezy to windy, especially in the afternoon. Highs will be around 90.  The dew points are likely to edge down a couple degrees, so it will be slightly less humid.

Tuesday will have a continuation of the gusty east-northeast winds.  Drier air in place all day in the mid and upper levels will keep the rain chance at 30 percent. A few showers on the east coast will work west during the afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy and highs will be from 90 to the low 90s. A sea breeze is very unlikely.

Drier air continues overhead through Thursday. Rain chances will be 30 percent during the day. It will be windy, with winds out of the northeast.  Skies will continue to be partly cloudy and highs will be from 90 to the low 90s.  A sea breeze will not be likely through the week.

Rain chances will ramp up Friday and through the weekend, as more tropical moisture moves in from the south.
