The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for a sexual predator.

According to deputies, Larry Williams left his home on Broad Street in Brooksville on Saturday, drove to the area of Mondon Hill Road and cut off his ankle monitor.
The device was left in a wooded area. Williams has not been seen since.
Authorities said Williams may be driving a blue and gray 1996 GMC Yukon SUV with the license plate 9818TL.
Williams, 60, is 6-foot-2 and 158 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
