Get free Taco Bell tacos and IHOP pancakes — and support military families — with a fundraising campaign kicking off today.

The annual campaign helps support the Armed Forces Families Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting military families.

Almost 400 corporate and franchise Taco Bell and IHOP locations in the southeastern U.S. are participating in this year's fundraising drive, which runs through Nov. 21.

"Since forming 10 years ago, the Armed Forces Families Foundation has raised and given back more than $2 million toward projects benefiting military members, veterans and their families, and it wouldn’t have been possible without this support,” John Wright, a member of the board at AFFF, said in a statement.

Diners can purchase a paper icon for $1 or more and will receive a coupon for a free stack of three buttermilk pancakes at IHOP or a coupon for a free soft or crunchy original seasoned beef taco at Taco Bell. The coupons can be used on the donor's next visit.

All funds raised for AFFF go to infrastructure projects to help military families, a news release said. Funds raised through the campaign will stay in the local region where they were raised.
