A 51-year-old bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday evening.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Dionicio Rodriguez was killed just after 6:30 p.m. while riding his bicycle on Sydney Washer Road at Fietzway Road when he was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle which drove away from the scene.
A mirror from a 1990s Dodge truck or van was left at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
