Overnight will be mostly clear then partly cloudy be daybreak. Lows will be in the upper 50s north to mid 60s for Tampa Bay.

  • Lows in the 50s, 60s
  • Cold front Sunday
  • Rain chances next week

A cold front will reach the Nature Coast in the morning bringing increasing clouds first then a few showers.

These clouds and showers will reach Tampa Bay from late morning to early afternoon, then shift south of there in the afternoon.

The front is expected to weaken as the upper level trough shifts into the Atlantic. So shower chances will be diminishing from north to south during the day. The rain chance will be around 30 percent for the Nature Coast to around 20 percent south and east of Tampa Bay.

The front will exit the area Sunday evening with high pressure moving across the southeast states Sunday night and Monday.

Temperatures and humidity will drop Sunday evening and Sunday night.  Lows by Monday morning will be in the low to mid 40s north to near 50 around Tampa Bay.

Monday will be partly cloudy with breezes especially at the coast. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

Another upper-level trough will be developing as soon as Tuesday over the eastern U.S. and the northern Gulf.  This will make the front that moved south of the region Sunday night to lift back north as a warm front. This will lead to increasing clouds and a chance of showers and possibly a few thunderstorms late Monday night through Tuesday.

During midweek, a weak area of low pressure may form in the central gulf as the upper trough deepens. So there will be more clouds, a chance of showers and possibly a few thunderstorms from Tuesday into at least Thanksgiving Day, and possibly Friday until the next front moves through.
