A man was detained after police said he drove his truck through the front door of a Home Depot Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at 17601 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
A man drove his truck through the front door of a Home Depot and fled the scene, Tampa Police said.
A group of individuals detained the suspect at a nearby gas station as police responded.
Paramedics said the driver appeared to be mentally unstable.
Police said no injuries were reported at the Home Depot and the vehicle does not pose any additional threat to the area.
