One person and a dog were treated for smoke inhalation after an overnight fire at a Tarpon Springs triplex.

According to Tarpon Springs Fire Deputy Chief Scott Young, crews responded to 725 Mango Street just after 2:30 a.m. 

Firefighters found smoke and flames in the kitchen area of one of the units. The fire was quickly brought under control.

The resident and dog were treated, but there were no life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
