Clearwater police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found in a pond.

The body was found in a pond just after noon at the corner of Park Street and South Prospect Avenue.
A passerby spotted the body and called 911.
Police and fire rescue crews had to wait on equipment to retrieve the body from the middle of the pond.
