Temperatures at the coast will drop some by later in this afternoon behind the sea breeze.

  • Morning fog each day
  • Low rain chances
  • Weak front late next week

Skies will be clear this evening. Tonight's lows will be similar to this morning, but since the dew points will edge up another degree or so, fog is more likely. Lows will be slightly higher than this morning mainly in the Nature Coast.  Lows will be in the upper 50s there to mid 60s around Tampa Bay.

Sunday brings a slight increase in moisture. The morning fog will take a little longer to burn off. Skies will be partly sunny. There will be a 10 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. These will come from the Atlantic side, so any rain is more likely in Polk County than closer to the Gulf Coast. It will remain warm with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s Sunday afternoon.

We will have another chance of a few isolated showers on Monday afternoon but most areas will not get any rain.

High temperatures will be slightly above average through mid-week with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s to near 70 Monday through Thursday.  Fog and low clouds will be around each morning.  Winds will be light and a sea breeze will form each day.

A cold front will approach our area on Friday. It is likely to stall out either over the area, or just south. So,  it will not bring any big changes. The rain chance will be around 20 percent for Friday and Saturday.
