The owner, John Zimmerman, has 133 movie and television credits for stunt work. He’s been doing it since 1979 and recently retired.

Students will train in the gym in Longwood, then head over to Zimmerman’s backyard in Haines City to learn more complex stunts, such as full body burns, ratchet stunts, and high falls.

The instructors have more than 50 movie and television credits for stunting. One of them, Orlando native Michele Waitman, served as a double for such stars as Jennifer Aniston, and Sarah Michelle Gellar in her “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” days.

“I got a ton of experience on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' on the last three seasons I worked on that." Waitman said. "So I got great experience of doubling a lead character. She’s a woman, a strong woman. Doing fights and everything."

Zimmerman said he’ll not only teach students the stunts, but also how to get the job.

“How do you get on set, what to say, who to see, things like that,” explained Zimmerman. “It will actually give them the basic knowledge on how to get into the stunt business.

The camp is seven days and will cost $1,500. The first session starts Jan. 6.
