Missing Child Alert canceled for 12-year-old Orange Park girl

UPDATE: (9:48 a.m.) - The Florida Missing Child Alert has been canceled for Laurana Sagesse. Authorities said the case has been resolved. No other information on the incident was released. 

ORIGINAL: A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old girl near Jacksonville, Florida.

Law enforcement is searching for Laurana Sagesse, 12, who was last seen in Orange Park, Florida. 

Sagesse is a black female, 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. 

Authorities said she may be traveling on a purple bike. 

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512 or 911. 

Missing Child Alert Activation Criteria: 

1) The child must be under 18 years of age.

2) The law enforcement agencys preliminary investigation must conclude that the childs life is in danger.

3) Descriptive information and a photograph of the child must be available.

4) The agency of jurisdiction must approve the issuance of the Missing Child Alert.
