Deputies responded to Camphor Street at 10:30 a.m. Sunday after a child noticed a duffel bag next to a fence near First Christian Church.

The church evacuated before deputies arrived.

When deputies arrived to the scene, they began clearing the area and shutting down traffic.

The bag contained a “Bubba Keg” which had been converted into a homemade speaker, deputies said.

A robot was used to remove item from the bag. An explosive detective dog was also used to determine if there were any bomb materials in the bag.

An all-clear was given at 1:20 p.m.
