A 54-year-old woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in Pasco County.
The crash occurred around 6:11 p.m. at US 19 and Babson Avenue in Hudson.
A Mitsubishi Galant, driven by Thomas Sammons, 66, was traveling northbound on US 19 when a pedestrian, Patricia Pla, 54, crossed the road and into the path of the vehicle, troopers said.
The vehicle collided with Pla, causing fatal injuries. Pla was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
