  • Investigators asking for help in case

Manatee County Sheriff's deputies were called to the ParkCrest Landings Apartments at 5725 1st Ave East early Wednesday. Deputies found 20 vehicles with flat tires.

Deputies said the vandal or vandals went through the parking lot randomly damaging vehicles. Investigators said there were no vehicles broken into, just flat tires.

"It’s so frustrating," said resident Stefanie Anderson, whose tire was damaged. "Why would somebody do this? Because now I’m going to be late for work or not be able to go to work, I’m going to have to get a spare tire, a new tire, I mean what, people don’t have anything better to do? It’s ridiculous."

The case remains under investigation.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information in this case to call them at (941) 747-3011.
