The University of South Florida Bulls won a wild back-and-forth Birmingham Bowl, 37-34, on Saturday over the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The Bulls finished the season with 10 wins under first-year coach Charlie Strong.
USF allowed a late touchdown with 1:31 left to fall behind 34-31, but Quinton Flowers hit Tyre McCants for a 26-yard touchdown with just :16 left.
Flowers finished with 311 yards passing and four touchdowns.
The game was tied 10-10 at halftime, and the Bulls trailed by a touchdown entering the fourth quarter.
Texas Tech finished the season 6-7, and the Bulls finished 10-3.
