Here's your Tampa area forecast for late Wednesday into Thursday morning, with a look at conditions through the weekend.

  • Mild morning
  • Lingering clouds
  • Seasonable temperatures

A wave of moisture is passing by in the atmosphere, which is resulting in these clouds. There will also be a few passing showers between now and sunrise, but the coverage will be limited, with the best chance from Hernando and Citrus counties northward.

Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Morning lows will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

Thursday will be similar to what we saw today. There will be variably cloudy to partly sunny skies. There will still be a small chance of a passing shower, but it will mainly be a small morning chance.

There will be a light northerly breeze that brings in a slightly cooler, less humid air mass. It will not make a huge difference, but temperatures will drop a few degrees with highs mainly in the low 70s.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the 50s.

Friday will be partly cloudy and seasonable with highs around 71.

Temperatures and conditions will remain seasonable into the weekend with highs near 70 both Saturday and Sunday. Lows each night will be in the 50s and 40s.

Skies will go between mostly sunny and partly cloudy.

The next big change in our weather will come on Monday with rain likely along with cooler air.
