Tampa Police investigators are looking into a single vehicle crash involving a vehicle registered to Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver DeSean Jackson.

Officers reportedly responded to a single vehicle crash at 2223 West Shore Boulevard on Dec. 24 and found an abandoned Chevy Silverado. The vehicle appeared to have left the roadway and struck a tree, and the driver had apparently fled the scene.

While investigating the scene, officers found 6.3 grams of marijuana and two .38 caliber hollow point bullets inside the vehicle, which they learned was registered to Jackson.

Jackson was contacted and later responded to the scene. The vehicle was impounded.

No arrests were made at the time. It is still unclear who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
