The tree top adventure company that has seen success in Bradenton has opened a second location in Hernando County.

It was nothing but fun as visitors tested out the new adventure courses at Treeumph's new Brooksville location for the first time on Dec. 6.
The 40-acre park features more than one hundred and thirty treetop obstacles that take you climbing and flying through the natural landscape.
Treeumph! already has a location open in Bradenton and wanted to expand. The company chose this location in Brooksville because of the jungle-like setting and large trees they could incorporate into the courses.
County leaders hope as people climb and zip through the treetops, it will bring much-needed tourism revenue to the county.
"We have the same recreation we had when I was eight years old in this county," said Hernando County Commissioner Steve Champion. "Nothing against what we have, because we have some great attractions, Pine Island and Weeki Wachee, the same parks and lakes that we've had. So this is the first fresh new idea that we've had in a long time. I know our commission supports it 110 percent.”
The park is expected to bring about $3.8 million to the county and create 30 full and part-time positions just in their first year. It's something Commissioner Champion said will only benefit other businesses in the area.
"Any new jobs that are created within the county great," Champion explained. "And obviously this brings more people and more tourism to the county which will create more jobs at other businesses around the county."
There will be a grand opening ceremony open to the public on Saturday, Dec. 9.
