A 7-year-old child is in the hospital after a crash Wednesday afternoon in Hernando County.

Officials said a family of six - two adults and four children - were involved in a single vehicle roll-over on I-75 just north of State Road 50.
According to the report, an SUV rolled over while on the interstate and a 7-year-old child was ejected from the vehicle.
Officials said the SUV sustained heavy damage.
The child was airlifted to St. Joseph's Trauma Center for treatment. No information has been released on the condition of the child.
The other five family members were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigation the crash.
