A Pinellas County Sheriff's Office detention corporal was charged with DUI and then fired from her position.

Jo Anna M. Barker, 35, had been with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office since October 2011.
Authorities said the incident occurred about 1:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Coral Avenue and Gulf Boulevard in Redington Shores.
According to a statement from the sheriff's office, deputies stopped a 2013 Chevrolet SUV that was traveling 67 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Barker, who identified herself as an off-duty detention corporal, had a breath sample of .217
She was charged with one count of driving under the influence and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
The sheriff's office said she was terminated following the arrest.
