The wife of Curtis Reeves took the stand Wednesday during Day 3 of a "stand your ground" hearing.

Reeves is facing second-degree murder chargers for shooting and killing Chad Oulson over an argument that started over Oulson being on his phone during the previews of a movie.

Reeves' wife, Vivian, emotionally told her side of the story of what lead up to her husband shooting and killing Oulson.

"Tell the court emotionally what toll it had on you?" said Reeves' attorney, Dino Michaels.

"I've never been so scared in all my life," she said.

Assistant state attorney Glenn Martin objected, citing relevance.

But Judge Susan Barthle allowed Reeves' testimony about what happened that fateful afternoon at Cobb Theatre.

"I was horrified that somebody would act like that," she said.

Vivian Reeves said when her husband asked Chad Oulson to stop using his phone during the previews, Oulson got loud and cursed at Reeves. That's when she said Reeves went to tell a manager and came back.

"What did Mr. Oulson say?" Michaels asked.

"You told on me, who the (expletive) do you think you are?" Vivian Reeves answered.

That's when Vivian Reeves said she started to get scared.

"Mr. Oulson quickly stood up and turned and he leaned forward, and I thought he was coming over," she said.

Curtis Reeves pulled out his pistol and shot Oulson.

"After you hear the shot, does your husband say anything to you?" asked Michaels.

"Yes, he said he hit me in the face," she said.

When Vivian Reeves was cross examined, she denied seeing her husband actually shoot Oulson. But she said she saw popcorn and a cell phone below his feet after the shooting.

The hearing is expected to last two weeks. If Reeves wins, he will be immune from prosecution.
