The Florida Highway Patrol says they now have a suspect in a hit-and-run case that almost killed a 13-year-old boy on New Year's Eve.

Troopers are looking for Jorge Soria, 35, who already has a warrant out for felony driver license charges in Manatee County.

According to officials, Cameron Fuller was riding his bike across US 41 in Ruskin on New Year's Eve when a driver hit him head on and took off.

For more than a month, troopers had no leads until a witness sent in photos of the suspect's license, which lead them to Jorge Soria.

Cameron is out of the hospital and recovering, but the driver is still out there.

Cameron's parents, Natasha Wood and Richard Fuller, have a message for the driver.

"I would just tell him that he's a coward for leaving the scene like he did. It's not right," said Natasha Wood.

Troopers said they have received more Crimestopper tips in this hit-and-run case than any other case this year.
