We had another warm day across the area with near record highs in some spots.

  • Morning fog Wednesday
  • Sea breeze at coast
  • Front arrives Thursday

Due to the winds coming from the southeast, the warmest air is being pushed into our area, without the cooling effect from the gulf sea breeze. We also had a few spotty showers along the sea breeze.

Although there is not a lot of moisture in the atmosphere, there was just enough to pop them up. If this was summer there would have been tons of thunderstorms.

Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear overnight into early Wednesday morning.

There will again be some areas of fog around sunrise that will burn off a couple hours after that. Morning lows will be mild in the 60s.

Wednesday will be another warm day with highs easily into the mid 80s for most spots and even some upper 80s inland. It will be a slightly cooler day for coastal areas as winds will finally shift from the southwest in the afternoon, allowing for a cooler sea breeze to come in.

Skies will go between mostly sunny and partly cloudy.

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the 60s.

Thursday will feature increasing clouds as a cold front will be approaching. There will be a few isolated showers in the area, but we do not expect a great rain chance with this next front. The front will move through late in the day into the evening, so temperatures will still be warm before the cooler air arrives that night. Expect highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s.
