The iconic "Airstream Ranch" along I-4 that has been a tourist curiosity since 2007 met its end Thursday.
The at-times controversial installation, comprised of Airstream-style RVs planted into the ground, was built by then-Bates RV owner Frank Bates near his dealership.
No information has been released as to why the installation is being demolished.
