The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Saturday night on I-75 in Pasco County.

The crash, involving four vehicles, occurred around 11 p.m. Saturday on I-75 at mile marker 275. 

Troopers said two out of seven people were killed. Out of the five, only one received minor injures. Four were uninjured. 

The four vehicles were traveling northbound on I-75 when a Nissan Altima failed to see a motorcycle, which had no tail light, and collided into the back of the Harley Davidson. 

The impact caused the bike to travel into the paths of the other two vehicles. 

The driver of the Harley, Michael Hardesty, 37, was transported to Wesley Chapel Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

His passenger, Kristin Conn, 32, was pronounced dead on scene. Both Hardesty and Conn were from Chillicothe, Ohio. 

According to the FHP report, neither one was wearing a helmet. 

The report also stated that charges are pending against the driver of the Nissan, Jennifer Bui, 18. 

Portions of the roadway were closed throughout the night until 6:15 a.m. Sunday.
