Maja Kazazic and her Great Dane named Rosie both have prosthetic legs.
Kazazic said part of Rosie's leg was amputated when she was a puppy.
Kazazic lost her leg as a teenager, in war-torn Bosnia.
Both are resilient and don't let that slow them down.
Kazazic adopted Rosie about a year and a half ago and said she knew it was a right fit.
"I thought this is my dog. I don't know what this dog is, but any dog that wears a prosthetic is my dog!" she said with a big smile.
Rosie has since become a fully trained service dog, thanks to help from North Tampa Dog Training in New Port Richey.
