A homicide investigation is underway in Hillsborough County after a 39-year-old woman was found dead inside her home on her birthday, deputies said.

At about 4 p.m., Hillsborough County deputies were called to a home on Hawthorne Trace Lane in Riverview.
Investigators said a family member found Tahirih Lua D'Angelo dead inside the home. Monday was the woman's birthday.
Preliminary details in the investigation indicate it's not a random act, but people who live in the area said they are concerned.
"That was upsetting," said Judy Wimbley, who lives in the area. "I said I know her to just speak and everything, but we've been friendly to each other and then something like this happens. You get a pit in your stomach. It's like I didn't hear anything. It's scary."
