A Tampa man had an, ahem, interesting encounter with a nine-foot alligator.
John Ruel posted the video to Facebook this week after the gator became stuck in a manhole.
In response to a number of messages he received, Ruel said, "He was a couple of doors down from our house. He was trying to climb out and got stuck.
"The trapper tried to pull him out but his girth was too big so he had to push him backwards (then) pull him out through the manhole."
The gator won't be euthanized.
