One person was killed and several others were injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night in Pasco County.

The crash happened around 6 p.m.

Officials said a Chevy Blazer was traveling eastbound on SR 52 and the driver failed to maintain his lane and ended up entering the westbound lane into the path of two vehicles.

The Chevy hit a SUV first and then a Mercedes, officials said.

The impact caused the SUV to run off the road and collided with a fence.

Ten people were involved in the accident.

The driver of the Chevy, Johnathon Carmack, 28, was killed in the crash. His passenger, Katherine Yager, 28, is in critical condition.

Six people were in the SUV that was hit – two adults and four kids.

Five people only received minor injuries. A 13-year-old passenger, Julian Barger, received serious injuries. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Two people in the Mercedes, Efraim Abramsohn, 70, and Leslie Croteau-Abramsohn, 58, received serious injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
