A Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office Sergeant received a unique thank you gift from some grateful parents.
The sheriff’s office posted on their Facebook page saying a 4-year-old autistic boy got out of his house in the middle of the night last week.
Sergeant Kristian Gundersen saw the lost boy and was able to return him to his parents.
The family gave Sergeant Gunderson a personalized sweatshirt that says ‘Thank you for being our Hero,’ as a token of their appreciation.
