The Hernando County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect involved in a bomb threat that occurred on Feb. 28.

Aaron Sanders, 32, was arrested Thursday and charged with planting a hoax bomb, aggravated assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon in a pharmacy. 

Investigators said Sanders is responsible for planting a hoax bomb at the Oak Hill Pharmacy in Brooksville. 

The device was rendered safe by the Citrus County bomb squad. 

The bomb was sent to the State Fire Marshall lab for testing. Depending on the components in the device, Sanders' charges could be upgraded from a hoax bomb to a bomb, officials said.
