The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have unveiled the third phase of a $150 million renovation project at Raymond James Stadium.

  • Team locker room will be much larger
  • New team retail store will be open year round
  • Tampa hopes stadium will host another Super Bowl

When all the dust settles, there will be a new look for the West Stadium Club, with oversized video walls, 4k video displays and a lot more lounging space.

For fans who want to buy Bucs gear, there will be a new team retail store open year round.

Spectators won't be the only ones to notice a difference.

The players will move into a locker room that's three times as large as the previous locker space.

The improvements aren’t just for football games, according to the team.

"Hopefully it'll drive attendance at every event that comes to Raymond James Stadium," said Bucs Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. "Hopefully it'll help us get some other bigger events as a community."

Tampa leaders hope the stadium can host another Super Bowl, which it did in 2009. The stadium also hosted the recent college football championship game between Clemson and Alabama.

"All the new venues are pretty spectacular," said Eric Hart of the Tampa Sports Authority. "And I think what you're seeing here is going to keep Raymond James Stadium in that field."

Of the $150 million cost, about $29 million will come from taxpayer dollars.
