An osprey nest that stalled a construction project in Citrus County has been moved.

The project on West Hall Road in Homosassa had been put on hold for weeks because of the nest.

Monday morning, a wooden pole was set up across the street and the nest was placed on top.

Representatives from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were on hand for the transfer.

Work on the construction project has resumed now. The construction is scheduled to be completed early next year.
