Citrus County Fire Rescue spent several hours Wednesday night working a barn fire in Inverness.

Crews said the barn was fully engulfed in flames. The barn sustained a lot of damage during the fire.

Fire crews were called out around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. They were able to get the fire under control with four engines and two tankers, along with help from Sumter County Fire Rescue.

Several pieces of farm equipment were inside the barn, including a motor home, three tractors, and a van.

The State Fire Marshall is still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
