UPDATE: 10 a.m. - A Pasco County murder suspect was arrested Thursday morning. 

Jonathon Cobb, 39, was found around 8 a.m. in the parking lot of a Hampton Inn in Hernando County. Cobb was wanted in the shooting death of Bobby Jordan. 

Cobb is being held at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office before being brought to the Land O' Lakes jail. 

ORIGINAL REPORT: Pasco County detectives are searching for a man they believe murdered someone after a verbal argument in a Land O' Lakes home Wednesday.

Deputies said Jonathan Cobb, 39, was at a friend's house when he got into an argument with another man, Bobby Jordan, 52. Witnesses said Cobb pulled out a gun and shot Jordan, then fled the house in a red pickup truck.

Jordan was transported to a hospital, where he died.

"We don't know where [Cobb is] at right now," said Pasco Sheriff's Office Sgt. Michael Rosa. "We don't where he's at, we don't know what he's up to, we'd like to locate him and hopefully just take him into custody and speak to him about this matter."

Detectives said Cobb is known to regularly spend time in Pasco, Hernando, and Pinellas Counties. He is wanted on charges stemming from being a felon in possession of a firearm and second-degree murder.
