A Pasco family of five escaped a house fire overnight.

According to Pasco County Fire Rescue, flames tore through a home in the 11200 block of Linden Lane in Port Richey just after 1 a.m. 

There were no injuries but a man, woman and three children lost their home and all their belongings, officials said. 

Crews said flames were shooting through the home when they arrived. 

Officials said they don't know how the fire started. Investigators are looking at how the fire burned to determine where it started and how it may have started.

The Red Cross is assisting the family.
